Every June, the HMBMDC holds their annual Summer Picnic.
Located centrally in Michigan, Galesburg was the logical place for the very first meeting of a group of devoted Berner lovers who went on to form the Heart of Michigan Bernese Mountain Dog Club. This year the picnic will be at Bertha Brock Park in Ionia, Michigan. Bertha Brock Park offers our growing club a variety of entertainment for your berner and family. There are hiking trails, horseshoes, a play ground and even camping if you desire. There is also a fresh water stream which offers a refreshing dip for your dog.

$2 park entry fee per vehicle
HMBMDC will Provide:
Hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the trimmings
Water, lemonade, soda, ice for you and your dogs
