Look What You Can Do With your Dog!
~ AKC RALLY ~
Rally is the new sport that is taking the nation by storm! Rally offers both the dog and handler an experience that is FUN & ENERGIZING!
Rally was designed with the traditional pet owner in mind, but it can still be very challenging for those who enjoy higher levels of competition!Lecture by Mary Burney * Demonstration by Nancy Jean. Mary Burney is a breeder of Springer Spaniels and is the President of the Ann Arbor Dog Training Club. She is an instructor and also a participant in Rally Obedience.
Nancy Jean has had Berners since 1991. She competed in conformation with her first Berner, Hansi, being a conformation Champion and Utility Dog. Her main interests now are obedience and rally.
“Rally-O” (rally obedience) is the new sport
that is taking the nation by storm!
Rally offers both the dog and handler an
experience that is FUN & ENERGIZING!
Rally gives the average pet & owner team a feeling of
accomplishment, but can be very competitive at higher levels.
The dog and handler move through a rally course
of 10-20 signs that indicate the next exercise.
